Twins had Guerrier on deck to bat in the eighth, but Punto struck out. What a confidence boost for Tyner and Rodriguez.

I can't wait for Ozzie's postgame press conference.
How much longer for Ozzie? Does he last the month?

Whew, sure hard to figure this team out.
Lots of fun when they hit like this.
Go Twins.

I'd keep him and fire/trade the rest.

I don't know where Shanty is, but I hope he stays there.

12-0 Twins - final. Fitting that AJ makes the final out of both games.

Wow, Twins have these two men:

Justin Morneau-2nd in AL in HR and 3rd in AL in RBI

Torii Hunter-4th in AL in HR and 5th in AL in RBI

Oh, and Santana and Mauer.

I feel another second half surge coming on.

Another dozen might be needed today with Boof on the mound.

Boof actually pitched quite well yesterday with only a lapse to Konerko. His breaking stuff has really come around.

Remember earlier in the season when we had questions about Bartlett at short? He's been solid in the field since his early season struggles and his bat has come around too.

As has been pointed out repeatedly, at this point the Twins need to make a run to insert themselves into what is becoming a two team race in the AL Central between the Tigers and Indians. It doesn't seem likely that Ryan will make any moves to upgrade the team so players like Bartlett and Bonser will need to keep improving as the season progresses.
