Hopkins Goalie to Tonka

Post by blueblood »

Heard that one of the Hopkins HS goalies may transfer to Tonka.

If so, should make for interesting tryouts with 2 returning seniors with varsity experience at Tonka already and a 3rd senior expected to tryout.

Can anyone confirm?

I doubt he would play this year if he went.

The transfer will be a sophmore and is probably better than what they have coming back and with a new coach I think everone will be starting fresh.

He may see some games. I doubt he will be there primary goalie. They have a senior that has been a two year starter. The senior will have to fall on his face for the youngster to jump over him.

However, he will certainly have every chance to get the job in his Jr. and Sr. years.

That being noted...........I hope he proves me wrong. I like to see that postion being competitive.
