Depending on which way they go, Rapids could be very young, talented and inexperienced, not to mention very good. Or they could be very old, semi-talented and inexperienced, not to mention mediocre. If they go young, they're an up and comer.

I think Hibbing is up and coming, but I very well could be wrong. Otherwise I would Say Edina.

Buffalo has a good group of athletes coming up. I like your pick.

How can Edina be considered "up and coming"? Seems like they're always good. Or are they going to be great from just good?

How accurate is the Lets Play Hockey standings from Two years ago when teams where Bantam A’s? Can you look at this and break down the “AA” & “A” as a guide or starting point?

Two years ago? Or three?
Well two years ago when it was 90's, 91's and 92's the top 10 for most of the year was: (I might be missing a few)
1.Edina
2.Centenial
3.White Bear lake
4. Moorhead
5. Maple Grove
6. Eden Prairie
7. Orono
8. Duluth East
9. Roseau
10. Hopkins (Now will be much weaker w/o Fink)

You would have to say look out for Stillwater, they could play spoilers on a few teams. Cotter coming in fills a need at goalie, the incoming sophmore is good but some competition won't hurt, nothing at Jr-Sr group for goalies. So it's...

"Welcome Back ..........Cotter."

Park Cottage Grove won't be a doormat for teams to come in and puch around anymore. New Coach Jay Moser has changed the atmophere and attitude and a welcome change it is. Not saying they are heading to state but will put up a much better effort.

Saying Rapids, Edina and Roseau are "Up and Coming Teams" is like the amazing Kreskin picking last weeks lottery numbers. They have been and will be good. If anything you could say Rapids is on the decline and Edina and Roseau will be in a year or 2.

I also like Blaine, Anoka, Centennial (years of youth success paying off and new section), Eagan and Woodbury will make noise this year also.

Wow, you dug deep in the pile of Let's Play Hockey editions for that one.

My questions, which of these teams lost players to private schools or juniors? Who developed their players?
