Joe Howe to Waterloo

Post by MNHockey08 »

I have heard that Joe Howe will forego his junior season to play in the USHL at Waterloo. Any thoughts?

After playing behind the offense he did last season, I can't necessarily blame the guy. The reason they won the 9 games they did was because of him.

Sucks for those of us in the west metro who won't be able to see him play for the next couple of seasons, but he should end up with a little more support in the USHL. The kid is very talented and seems to have the kind of mindset you'd like to have in a goalie.

If it's true, good luck, Joe.

Not good news for the Wayzata faithful.

Is that the best development path for Joe? Not sure if I agree. However, I am sure his family and Joe gave both sides considerable thought. He's a talented goalie.

Good Luck Joe!

Joe is as old as most seniors in the state, so it shouldnt effect his development very much.

But what is the goalie situation in Wayzata now without him?

I believe Joe is a 90 born player??? Seniors in high school will be either 89 or 90 birth years.

He's an early 90, my buddy is in the same grade as him at wayzata, and told me that joe played a year ahead of everyonoe in his grade because of his birthdate

Howe is the best goalie I've seen in 5 years (in my humble opinion) this is a huge loss to Wayzata.
