How do you get into the good tournaments?
I hear some friends of mine who have kids playing at Centennial that they are in a all these great tournaments...Duluth, Edina, White Bear Lake, Shattuck. Where do they post the entries for these tournaments?

1. Check out the association websites. You can find them all at www.minnesotahockey.org.
2. Let's Play Hockey has a list of tournaments by date.

Basically you have to have a program that has demonstrated high quality teams for years. Well at least for a couple of years.
That is how these associations keep them the top tournaments, buy picking and choosing only the best of the best teams to play in their tourney.
Anyone can apply to play, but then "generally speaking" the organizer of the tourney chooses who they would like to have in their tourney.
You'll see many of the same 20-25 teams/associations in these tournaments.

"Good Tournaments"
SLP Coach is basically right.
The "top" teams like East, EP, Edina, WBL, Moorhead all host each other in their home tournaments. Teams like Grand Rapids, Rochester, St. Cloud, Minnetonka, Jefferson, Wayzata; etc. usuaslly get the next invitations becuase they generally have good teams.
Another key factor is history. If you have been attending a tournament like Spirit of Duluth or Silver Stick (Midwest Regional now), you generally are re-invited.
