It is a summer camp. And it is VERY suspicious that it cannot be announced who is running the camp.

A secret camp? Are you guys sure it wasn't just for getting some kids together to mow the grass outside the arena? Drove by it this morning...and someone did a good job of trimming the green last night.

And just how would you know that. Oh and why is this such a big deal that kids are working out and getting stronger. Seems to me that somebody born 7 miles in the wrong direction is getting a little nervious.

I do know people from the Greenway district, believe it or not. And I am not nervous in the least. I am just wondering why the camp director must remain nameless.

Greenway Hockey

Not really sure what's motivating the Greenway's hockey fathers..... recent move are very destrutive to the program.... I'm sure it will lead to more "hockey palyers" leaving the program..... Underwood's are the most recent....... I sure hope Orhn realizes it.... before half the team is inelgible after grades come out..................

It's so sad that everyone is moving out of the Greenway School District. I used to go to Greenway. I remember being a little girl and everyone, I mean the entire town wearing green, and people so excited. I think these were the years Greenway was really good. I think I was there 85-91. Anyway my parents moved, and insisted I change schools. Junior High and High School I went to Rapids. I remember in high school the Grand Rapids vs. Greenway were the best games of the season! They were always so close!
Sorry to ramble...I was arguing with an ex-boyfriend that went to East, and I was trying to figure out overall who was a superior team East or Rapids. That's how I ended up on this forum, and after reading how horrible Greenway has gotten in the last ten years, it just breaks my heart. ( I hope that never happens to Grand Rapids.)

What happened to Underwood moving to Hermantown because it was a good move for his family? Apparently that fell through? Heard he's now living in Rapids, planning on trying out for the Thunderhawks?

Someone told me today they heard a radio ad asking for people to sign up and play Greenway High School hockey. Is this actually true? It's a shame if it is. No team should have to beg for players.
