So does the U have any control over this or is this a Big 10 thing?

You would think that everyone involved would make sure that the games would be broadcast to the fans.

This nonsense has played out before. I would think they'd have any deal to sell the rights premised on deals already being in place between the network and the cable companies.

Whoever is steering the BTN must have used Glen Mason's line, "It's in the bag." when explaining the potential TV deal.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe FOX is rankrolling the BTN along with the conference.

Correct, Fox is bankrolling the BTN, Fox also owns 49% of Direct TV so do you think Direct TV is paying full rates to show the BTN?

IS - I'm curious if you ever got this figured out and if you have the games today - again I have every game on the Network today (pic below). I don't really know why I care, but I've heard from a few people that I get some basic channels they don't and vice versa on Directv, so I don't know if it's a package thing, or tenure, or what it is.

They look a lot better today than they did last week. Evidently Brewster preached getting upfield in a hurry at practice this week, because everybody - RBs, WRs, KRs and Weber - seem to be just taking the ball moving straight north... not much dancing around today. I like it.

Still work to do, but better.

Thanks Govs, I'm currently enjoying the goal line stand right now.

De-fense, De-fense, De-fense.

14-12 Gophs, as they hold them to a chip shot.

Why didn't they take the 3 pts late in the 2nd? instead of going for it on 4th and 1 they were only up 5 this would at least forced a TD and the 2pt conversion?

Just don't think most teams would do that unless they're very confident that the game is their's.

This kicking situation is ridiculous. Gianinni isn't close. How do you carry a guy who missed 8 extra points from one season into another? Get one of the women soccer players or something.

Nice play on 3rd and 7, Weber really does a great job looking off the intended reciever.

I know Brewster is new in town so he may not know this, our Kicker can't even convert PAT's, inside the 39 is 4 down territory.

Despite Jason Giannini's best effort to piss it away by missing yet another FG, Minnesota wins in triple OT 41-35.

I'm going to need to watch the Twins game tonight to wash the taste of this game out of my mouth.

Wait a minute....

It's also nice to see Michigan getting another foot up their collective rear end again today (even if it is to the worst dressed team in the history of American football).

Thanks. If I wasn't scared to open a sports page, I would have known that.

They're not much better. One game they had over 30 shots attempted and only 8 were even on frame
