I'm not seeing Canisius being able to make much of a game against the Huskies in St. Cloud this weekend. Hopefully they'll at least be able to make it exciting on one of the nights.

St. Cloud State Sweep.

Huskies will pound them.
They should be top 5 before season is over.

Top five in what? WCHA? Possibly. In the nation? Pretty unlikely.

It is questionable that they will even finish in the top five of the WCHA this year. Their defense and goaltending will likely take a step back from last year. Especially without Goepfert. Without him erasing mistakes as often as he did, it will definitely be a tougher go of it for the Huskies this year.

Canisius --------0 1 2 0 — 3
St. Cloud State 2 1 0 0 — 3

Shots: C — 3-3-7-0—13; SCSU — 14-14-14-4—46;
Goalies: C — Bryce Luker (43 saves); SCSU — B.J. O’Brien (10 saves);

OUCH, B.J could have a long year on the bench with this performance. You goalie experts out there, hard to stay focused with only 6 shots in two periods and only four saves?

Nothing he could really do on the goals in the third. They were shots that should be stopped but at the same time he was in the right position, the puck just found a hole through the five hole.
The U invented swagger.
