Oh, too funny. I must have hit "New Topic" instead of post reply. There was a thread on the best Junior Gold team ever. My comment is tongue-in-cheek since in 1986 Edina had the #1 ranked HS team (lost in Sectionals), the State Champs for Jr. B (made up entirely of HS age players attending Edina High), and still won the Juvenile A (now Junior Gold) title - indicating two things:

1) the depth of talent in Edina at the time, and
2) that this level isn't anything worth taking too seriously.

It's like men's league for kids that aren't quite men yet.
