In the 2004 election the most partisan industries were as follows.
Big Oil for the republicans: They contributed just over 20.6 million with over 80% going to the republicans.
Lawyers and Law firms for democrats: They contributed just over 137 million with over 75% going to the dems.
Now the media loves to portray the dems as being for the small guy. The facts seem to point in a much different direction.
