It is sponsored by the local community cable station which broadcasts all of the games on TV. I believe in recent years the tournament's been held at the Plymouth facility (3 ice sheets) whereas in the past it was usually at New Hope (2 ice surfaces). Cooper plays at NH and Armstrong alternates between NH and Plymouth, with the boys and girls taking one and the girls the other each year. Communites served by Cable 12 include New Hope, Golden Valley, Plymouth, Crystal, Robbinsdale, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove (there may be a couple of others too). I'm kind of surprised that North Metro doesn't participate as they are in the area, but Eastview, Woodbury and New Prague are way out of the Cable 12 viewing area.

Short answer, on the Armstrong schedule on classiclake.org, it lists New Hope Arena as the site.

To clarify, I believe Edina is also hosting a girls high school tournament on Thanksgiving weekend as well as their "Holiday Tournament" over the December break. I don't know if there are any announcement of teams for the Thanksgiving tourney, but the ones listed below are for the Holiday Tournament, Dec 27-29.

Very good. Thank you. Any chance you know the times of the remaining possible games?

The Edina tournament has an outstanding field. The only downside is the games are played at the MN Made Rink. The rinks don't hold many people. Not the best place to watch a game.

Agreed. You would have thought that with 3 ice sheets at Braemar they could have held it there.

The Association hosts a holiday tournament for Peewee's and Bantam's that weekend. It must have taken all the ice at Braemar.

Braemar is booked during those days for its annual boy's youth invitational (39th year). Four divisions (Bantam A & B, PeeWee A & B).
