Best Rivalry Game
What are your favorite rivalry gamesthroughout the season? I'd have to go with Roseau vs. Warroad and Hill vs. WBL at Aldrich.

i know these two are not anywhere near the great hockey powers of this state but Litchfield / Dassel/ Cokato{LDC} vs. Willmar will match any intensity of the great ones,, Any truth that the adminstration from Willmar only wants to play this game one time in the year , what a shame for the kids, and the kids are suppose to look to the adults for guidence. If its true what a shame

h2o.....to be a great rivaly game, the teams donthavetobe powerhouses...its great forthe fans and the kids when too close communties play a hard fought game..in st.cloud its great to see two local teams goinghead tohead withpacked stands and cheering fans. growing up watching st. cldou tech play st. cloud apoloo was just crazy, with a praypainted cat getting thrown ont he ice to make the tech tiger fans mad, or a plucked chicken being thrown on the ice to make the apollo eagles crowd mad...not that i condone animal cruely, and they would never stand for that nowadays, but it was crazy to see back then.
No doubt about it
Greatest rivalry game in the state of Minnesota:
North St. Paul and Richfield.
That is a game with passion and hunger. Both teams know they need to put on the foil early and often in this one!!!

Used to be Rapids - Greenway. Now I think Rapids biggest rival is w/o a doubt Duluth East.
What about Rapids - Cloquet...
Cloquet is definetly a rival, but I don't think the dislike there is near as strong as it is for East.
With Rapids getting the best of East for the first time in recent memory last year, that rivalry could certainly heat up a bit...I plan on traveling to GR this year for their game in January. For East fans it doesn't quite match Cloquet yet, though. Distance probably plays a role in that.
