Not that it matters but might as well post the correct info:
7-1 and 45-5 shots but you were correct that it was a shooting gallery.

EP shuts out the top teams in state. and then gives up 1 goal to shakopee on 5 shots :)

proves shakopee isn't all that bad, they lost by a margin of 6. something other teams have done that are much better =]

and as for kennedy being better, i think it was a letdown by Edina, seeing how Jefferson and Burnsville just crushed them

they took a couple blows with everson going varsity and another player leaving to Holy angels both d-men

Hastings 5
Dodge County 2

Hastings played the game with 16 skaters. Dodge County played it with 9, and was missing their leading scorer. DC scored twice in the first 5 or 6 minutes and was swarming but the lack of skaters and bad calls killed them. 3 power play goals, a shorthander and an empty netter for Hastings. Dodge County had 6 penalties, Hastings had 2. Shots were 33-14 in favor of Dodge County. DC had plenty of great opportunities, just didn't capitalize. Also had a goal called off midway through the 3rd that would've brought the score to 4-3. Exciting game to watch.
