I saw Burnsville play Marshall, and that top line looked pretty darn good.

Burnsville 4, Jefferson 1

3-3 after 2 periods. Barnes and King with one each. Not sure of the third.

What I saw in 20 minutes was a domination from B-ville. Hendrickson had his motor working on all cylinders, and Barnes was given about 3 wrap around chances in the 1st period alone. I'm not suprised who won the game, just at the time it took for them to win! B. Jefferson was ok, but the speed of Burnsville's 1st line is what keeps MN hockey at the cream of the crop!

Well the 17 minutes i saw in the third period of that game must have not been the same 20 minutes lordosis saw because from what i know jefferson outshot b'ville 18-4 in the third....anyway hendrickson and barnes were flyin out there but two guys can only do so much. Jefferson was either better than expected or b'ville didnt play their best if the jags brought them into OT....i do realize also it was the first game of the year but it was a awesome game

Bville

People said that 2nd and 3rd lines looked bad for Bville, but I saw both lines light the lamp. Lane G. got the first, and Zach K. got the second. They looked pretty good to me. Also, Tony A. looked good on D.

Burnsville didn't look great but got the job done. Hendo and Barnes look good on the offensive end but Janee will be working on there defense, hendo on the ice for all 4 Jeff goals and barnes on the ice for 3 jeff goals.

I was at this game on Saturday, didn't have a chance to post about it till now.

The game was played on the BIG's big sheet (rink #1?) with the smaller stands so it was quite crowded. Both student sections were really into the game and added to the atmosphere.

The game was supposed to start at 7:30 but when I got there at 7:25 there were 6 minutes left in the first period so I missed the first 10 minutes of the game.

Jefferson dominated the third period after getting behind with the help of some power plays but Tyler Barnes turned it up a notch in the OT tying up the puck to kill a power play then making an excellent play to set up the winning goal.

too close for comfort for burnsville but they got the job done. #3 Ben Branson for burnsville was very agressive..also #17 Tony Anderson played a solid game at defense for burnsville. #10 Tommy Odonnell for jefferson looked very strong also.
