Twelve.tv - what am I doing wrong?

Post by O-townClown »

I couldn't get the game yesterday and can't seem to now either. Their site has "LIVE" in quotes which makes me wonder how 'live' it is.

I'd like to watch the Hornets tonight. Can I?

Same problem here, O-town. I'm suspecting a bit of deceptive advertising, here. I'll e-mail them to validate, though. Very disappointing!!!

* Online you can access live coverage of what Twelve.tv airs.
* Twelve.tv is airing the Turkey Trot games.

# Online you could not access these hockey games live.

I feel like I'm taking a course in logic.

Now that I look, I don't see where Twelve.tv or Channel 12 ever said they'd show the games live.

Oh well, my brother-in-law gets 641. I'll have him record the Rochester-Edina game for me Thursday.

The games were not televised live on the website this year, but were live on the television station. They're also being aired as replays all week. And you could probably inquire purchasing a DVD.

According to a network exec, they were planning on having the live web-streaming available, but they had a problem. They'll reportedly have the games available for web-streaming this week, if you want to check back. Hopefully, they'll have the LIVE web-streaming available soon.

Am I entitled to damages?

Thanks for the clarification. It sure LOOKED like they promised the game live.

Oh, they DID promise live web-streaming. I received an e-mail from a Ch. 12 exec, today, apologizing. They do not plan on any more "attempts" at live game web-streaming, this season.
On a brighter note, the Wayzata/Edina final is now available on their website. (The do intent to provide the games, a couple of days after they occur.)
