Crandall fights

Post by mnhockey9009 »

Aaron Crandall of the Green Bay Gamblers gets into a fight. I know this should be in the junior forum but alot of people know of him through high school and thought this was kind of cool.

Good fight. His uncle was a pretty tough defenseman at Mankato State. He must of showed him a few things.

Man those uppercuts in the end pretty much were lights out for him. Still a pretty good scrap.

Not very often you see a goalie fight! Not since Patrick Roy retired, anyway. I guess Danny Clutier (sp?) got into a few, too.

I am tryin to figure how you gave it to Crandall... I thought it was even up until the opposing goalie threw those upper cuts and then brought him to the ground. I give it to the other goalie but I am sure round 2 will be equally as entertaining...

I agree with you the last part of the fight. However, it appeared that Crandall landed more punches up until that point. If it were boxing, I would give the round to Crandall.

Isn't a goalie fight like a chick fight anyway  No offense to chicks :)

Crandall threw more. Landing them was a different story. Looked like most of those initial punches he threw either missed entirely or were glancing blows off of the other guy's shoulder.

I'd give it to the other goalie because of the late comeback and take down.

I'd probably give it to the other goalie as well. If Crandall woulda thrown that left hand that he had the jersey with, that woulda worked nicely. All around good scrape.

Agreed, all Crandall's punches in the beginning were going right off the guy's shoulder.

I don't understand how two goalies could have beef with each other when they're at the opposite ends of the rink? I mean, most of these guys don't know each other so it's not like it could have been a long time grudge....was it just for kicks or what?

During the course of some games goalies end up trash talking. This trash talking between them builds up. I am sure who ever he fought saw him get up and look for a scrap and rather than watch his forward smoke him, he got involved. I have seen and been a part of a goalie fight, it is awkward with the chest pads but in the end could end up ruining a career with eye problems...

GOOD SCRAP! I hope to see another one from these two soon.
