What's Davey Johnson going to do better than Decenzo? Just sounds like some unhappy parents complaining to me...[/quote]

The main thing Mark D. cares about is his kid, and getting him a D1 scholarship. Time is running out....................

As far as Davey goes- I believe he is passionate about the game and his team- not just his own kids and making them look good.....

I completely agree with Louie V (even though it's only his third post) all DeCenzo wants is for his son to rack up 150 points and get a D1 scholarship. He could care less if the team is 0-25 as long as his kid gets 5 goals a game. Davey Johnson loves hockey and loves to win. Personally I think if Davey Johnson was the coach they'd win state with ease.

I've seen Hibbing play this year... They wouldn't win state even if Jauques Lemaire (sp) was coaching them.

Only ONE team will win state. It's not about winning state- it's about getting there. In the past- Decenzo has had more talent playing for him than Lemaire and still couldn't make it to state. Time for a new coach at HHS!!

Oh yes, you are both brilliant...
My son is 10 years old, and we live right around 200 miles from Hibbing.
Brilliant....

No wonder your son got cut - don't take it too hard. You don't see too many 10 year olds on the varsity squad. It appears it would have been a long commute for you and the boy anyway - maybe next year.

this guy is just a moron.. what's with all the DeCenzo bashing??... his son could probably do the exact same thing he's been doing with or without his old man calling the shots.. I believe Mark's a solid coach, and some may just have some sour grapes and like to take shots at him just because he's coaching he's son.. he's been there since 94, his son would have been what, 5??...

Louie V.. you sure seem to know an awful lot about the team, not too many adults that live 200 miles away are calling players by nicknames in posts and bragging up ryan hanegmon. so what if davey johnson becomes coach, are people going to be mad because he has 2 sons in the program? I agree with grievous, anthony would be doing just as good even if mark wasn't head coach..

Oh Absolutely- I am certainly "in the know." Just like the rest of you wannabees who get on here and act like you know something or should I say, "SOMEONE." I guess we all better agree with you big dogs that post more than 4 times on here. I guess I know where I stand...HA.. :D

Good luck and keep analyzing- it's gotta be more fun being on the outside looking in.....
