End of second period
Roseau 4, Thief River Falls 2
Heard TRF scored on their first shot of the season. Well there goes my Lee as best player and/or goalie in the state theory...that sure got shot all to heck in a hurry. :?

But have heard the Rams are rolling a straight 4 tonight is that true?

Don't know much more than the score and shots from Ralph Engelstad Arena TRF tonight.

The game is on KKAQ 1460 which is still online...click on the sports tab and then scroll down and it will give you the option of listening now. You have to save the file and the reopen it in windows media or whatever media player you use. It is working great for me.

Yeah, I am not having any trouble either. It's a pretty solid site for any northwest Minnesota sports events on the radio.

STA 3 RW 0

Played in RW. STA scored one in each period, and they had many shots (didn't hear the official tally but the guy on the radio said maybe 50 to not very many for RW. Honestly neither team looked too good, STA doesn't look comparable to their recent teams, and nothing like their championship team from a few years ago.

Final

Roseau 4,
Thief River Falls 2

Prowlers hang around, but I believe they were pretty substantially outshot. TRF goalie face 20 shots in the second period alone. I think this was his varsity debut, so it could have been worse.
