This is probably not a good night for Eagan. I believe this is an FSN game.

I was looking for the specific ice rink, and after some digging I discovered that it is Eagan Ice Rink. Imagine that. Sorry I'm not from 'round these parts.

Eagan came out flying and dominated play at the start of the first period but after that it was all EP. EP really took it to an Eagan team that looked very lazy. Eagan's starting goalie Trent Anderson did not look like he was on top of his game. He looked unsure of himself and ended up deeper in the net than he should have been on a few of the goals. Leddy looked good as I expected him to but someone who really impressed me was Eagan's Whitney Olsen. He had a couple strong rushes up ice where he showed a flash of brilliance.

Leddy was player of the game...........I guess he looked pretty good. He put a big boy from Eagan on his ars.

Eagan looked like they lacked skill and confidence. I wasn't impressed by their play.

EP was much more skilled and faster.

It was an FSN game.............

FSN does a great job with the production of the HS games. I look forward to the T.V. games.

Who are you kidding I thought Eagan was getting it taken to them from the drop of the puck . . . they put up a good amount of chances early but didn't control the game . . . Overall they were not nearly as skilled and didn't play very effectively.

They said on FSN that Eagan lost 71% of there scoring from last season, it was easy to see this because Eagan could not get much going on offense. Third period they started to play better D. EP's first line looked very good and so did their D. Eagan showed some signs of life but for the most part they played scared and were overwhelmed by the Eagles.

I would also like to know what the shots were, anyone know?

I expected more from Eagan's Haas. I didn't hear his name mentioned much.

Whitney Olson Looked good?? You are killing me! All he did was rush the puck up the middle of the ice and lose it everytime. Most of the time giving EP a odd man rush back up the ice. He never looked for a teammate. I thought good hockey players make their teammates better. Not in this case. Until he starts to pass and understands how to use his teammates, he is just another average hockey player.

If I recall right, according to FSN, Eagan had 17 or 18 shots. Eden Prairie had 15 shots on Anderson for 4 goals; Caspar came in at the 11:00 mark in the 2nd period and shut them down on 21 shots.
