It was 1-0 untill about half way through the third when WBL scored 3 more before the game ended. So the final score was 4-0.

Considering they just came off of a loss to Greenway and still have 3 senior players out they did pretty good. Hopefully they can get their first win Saturday against Anoka.

Considering WBL isn't as offensively strong as they have been in previous years. I wouldn't chalk this up as a sign of things to come for Hastings. What were the shots?

The score could have been worse, other than some penalty trouble in the third, WBL prety much dominated. WB looked better than I expected, not world beaters though.

Did Villneauve skate for the Bears? Rumor was he had to sit out a few games.

Lowell, Desmidt, Fiala, and Pasma scored the goals.

Not only did he play, but he started a little mess in front of their net and got put in the box as he was talkin' trash to every Hastings guy on the ice. That doesn't sound like Villneauve at all...

WBL ?

I expected a lot more with them. With a majority of Hastings Offense out, Hastings gave WBL a good run. Hastings missed a wide open net then WBL had a weak goal completely killed the momentum.

Owen made some phenomenial saves and it's good to see him back in his usual form, although he'll really be tested this weekend playing Fargo South and Moorhead back-to-back. Hopefully he'll carry the same game he played last night towards this weekend.

As for Villneauve, he played his usual role as the hard a**, and played it quite well. I had my money on him for the Villneauve vs. Hastings first line brawl.

what about jake kimmes, he may be small but he is a very good goalie for his size. Also who looked good on hastings?
