You are taking Hibbing 5-2? That'll be interesting in the Grand Rapids-Greenway rivalry game.sid_the_kid wrote:hibbing 5

im suprised on how many people think greenway on this one. they didn't look to special against eveleth in the jamboree in virginia but thats all ive seen of them so i could be wrong
My heart says Rapids in a blowout 8-2. My head says it's a pick um game. Probably better stay with the head. GR 5 Greenway 3. Emotion makes up for the lack of talent in this one and I think the Raiders are sick and tired of having their asses handed to them which makes them a very dangerous animal that should be respected.

Don't count out Greenway. They played Virginia on the back rink and finished 20 minutes before hitting the ice against EG/ME at the IRC jamboree, but couldn't do to Little Falls what Virginia did.
As for Grand Rapids, they had the benefit of injuries to Grivette and Buccanero. This game is in Coleraine and, really, could go either way.
pick 'em
5-4

Greenway has such an unstable goaltending situation. With Harbin out, Guyer and/or Arnason are going to be asked to keep the puck out and they only stopped 22/30 vs. Hibbing. I don't think they can handle the magnitude of this game right now.

Greenway of Coleraine 2

Those two players wouldn't have made much of a difference. Rapids was shorthanded for a good portion of the first two periods and twice they killed two-man advantages. If there would have been more five on five play, Rapids would have blown them out.

Are you serious? The only reason those kids were on that Elite team is because Guyer was the coach and you can't tell me Roy, Kosak, and Rendle weren't good enough to be on that squad. Unless something crazy happens, Rapids should dominate.eastranger19 wrote:How do you not take the Greenies in this one, 2 Elite players to none!!
Had to be upset wins for Hibbing and Hermantown.[/img]
