Shattuck Tourney

Post by TrojanMan1 »

Yet again a few good Minnesota teams competing in it.

What are your thoughts on how the tourney will end up.

The teams are:

Madison Capitals
White Bear Lake
Eden Prairie
Wisconson Fire
Shattuck
Dallas Alliance
Centennial

Did you mean the fight was bs, or the 2 minutes of quincidentals?

The fight was great....sorry but it was. Both teams playing SO hard and hey they are 13/14/15 year old boys....

No one hurt and was not as bad as advertised but it was great to see each young man on the ice defending each other.

The referee made the RIGHT CALL....just took control and said "everyone to the box". Maybe a major to each side could have been called but "come on"...it was every guy on the ice...so give 'em all 2 minutes and smile....

FYI - I am not from Edina or Shattuck! I was standing right on the boards, 4 feet from the action with others and it was GREAT!

Oh by the way...it was an AWESOME GAME! Both teams deserved to win.

I think the most over-looked part of the EXCELLENT tournament was...

Look who was in the TOILET BOWL...

Centennial and WBL

How did Dallas and Madison beat them???

I am neither the goon that was banging on the glass (he was a Shattuck Dad) or an EP parent.

I was a specator watching a VERY well played Bantam game.

IMHO it was as good a Bantam game I have seen in years.

Don't make a big deal out of the fight...remember they are Bantams.

WBL played tight with every team, just couldn't do what it took to win. Centennial was better up and down the ice than the FIRE and Dallas, but could not score goals.

Chuck,

You were doing great until your last comment. I don't know if you were watching the same game as the rest of us but Centennial definitely did NOT move the puck up the ice better than the FIRE and questionable with Dallas. Time to have the eyes checked... :D

I saw a number of the games and Shattuck and Edina looked very impresive. Both have alot of depth. The fight was not all that. Edina kid broke his arm in tourney? EP looked tired (over heard an EP parent bragging about their 17 to 0 game against Kennedy and how they only allowed Kennedy 2 shots  ) White Bear gave it there all against Shattuck and Edina and then gave up in Cent game.

Its funny how people brag about scores when in reality anyone can beat anyone. It almost happened to EP against Minnetonka.

Chuck i agree with the comment about white bear. they should have won at least 2 games, but the fire outshot centennial by 25

Post by Fire and Ice »

how was the crack you smoked...outshot them by 25. sorry they outshot the fire the fire just happened to get 2 open netters and 2 breakaways. very misleading. Chuck Norris knows the truth.
