It was a 2-2 tie last year when EGF played Park Rapids and, Lehrke had one goal. I wouldn't call that beating their whole team.
Lehrke is over rated, park needs to quit talkin up an UNDER RATED player[/quote]

yeah, good call, 1st lehrke did have two goals in that game, not a big deal either way, they credited the one to kohlrusch but lehrke did score it, anyone there obviously saw it.

second, last time i check over rated high school players usually dont put up almost 30 points in the elite league. Not bragging him up here, but call a spade a spade, he has put up points every year, Select 17 national camp, good competition and bad, give credit where credit is due, warroad shut him down last yr, they were a great team, could sacrifice one of their top players in marvin to cancle each other out. Marvin being a great player did his job to a T and a couple of their other talented players pitched in like good players do. And as many people know and have said on here, Lehrke doesn't have a ton of talent to work with, it's getting better but nothing like marvin or ravendahlen had and have

Third, Apparently college coaches love over rated players nowdays

blah-blah-blah....old news...your continual din is tiring.

No question he's a good player maybe even a great player; best class A Senior like some of you PR faithful have suggested in other threads...no....you PR people's problem is you have three, four or even five guys touting this kid. You guys sound like an opera turned up all the way...it may be great music but it sounds like crap. Take a hint turn the volume down....I'm sure both he and his parents are embarrased by the constant spew from you know-nothing wanna-be's.

Then take it out of the Section 8A thread and start a Lehrke thread if you feel the need to praise this kid so much. I'll DEFINITELY stay out of that thread you and your locker room lizard buddies can compare notes all you want.

Oh great.....   I can see this is going to be a long season...the constant yipping of the ankle biters. #-o

Here I'll define it so it's crystal clear for you fellas...ankle biters: Little dogs that make a lot of noise but do nothing in the end. ie: Park Rapids and their fans.

In the end nothing happens for all of us...in the end we are ALL just people who like hockey and write stuff on a board and express howwe feel about certain subjects...so I understand what your saying...but taking it all in may be a problem

I assume your team is Warroad? I dont believe any other team has really bitten anyone in this section for a very very long time. Be proud now because your youth teams dont seem to hack it too well. Hopefully Olson can get something out of them at the HS level...

7-3 on the year

Post by Irishmans Shanty »

Sat Dec 1
Red Lake Falls @ Pequot Lakes: RLF has yield 17 goals in 2 games
Blaine @Thief River Falls: TRF will be real high after this one
Fort Frances (Ont.) @ Kittson Central: I think FF is applying for 8A membership next season
Bagley-Fosston @ Ely

Home of Economy Classic in Grand Forks
Crookston vs. Grand Forks Central (N.D.): why not? maybe they can end the drought
East Grand Forks vs. Minot (N.D.): the Magicians won't have much magic against the Wave
Warroad vs. Grand Forks Red River (N.D.): RR has been real tough at home over the years against MN

Threads like this get the Schwang(PR graduate) back in action again. SB, nice to see you again. Same goes to all the other regulars THAT WENT THROUGH ALL OF THIS SAME CRAP LAST YEAR...

Lehrke is still the best, nothing has changed, except for his experience and grit. Quit beating this obvious topic to death and talk about something else(like McMorrow being 2nd best? :D ) for christ sake...

10-6 on the year so far

Roseau @ Crookston: Nothing negative can come from getting an opportunity to play the best.
East Grand Forks @ Grand Forks Central (N.D.): Wave will not find it easy going against the Knights.
Lake of the Woods @ Warroad: WAR couldn't start 0-2 could they? Not a chance, they'll cover the number.
Pequot Lakes @ Walker-Hackensack-Akeley: This one interests me very little.

I would say EGF is the favorite right now, after seeing the warriors play red river at the purpur the other night. There powerplay looks solid with ravendahlen, but after that they dont have to much. There goalie situation looks really weak, both of the goalies they played that night looked shaky. Christianson is known to steal a game and that will be big for the wave come tourny time. Also all you PR fans you will always get a top seed when you have a player like Luerke and you play that weak of a schedule, but come tourny time, you just straight CHOKE.
