I heard Park Rapids Area schools were getting out at 1:00. Is that true?

We have about 2" so far, and weather channel mentions accumulations from 3-6" by 6pm for GR area. This isn't enough for canceling a game. Leave early and follow the plows. Game on!

I agree, especially in the metro area.

Duluth area & North Shore

Post by east hockey »

I haven't heard anything official for the Duluth area, but the National Weather Service updated their warnings for here and changed the Snow Advisory to a Heavy Snow Warning. 5-10" are predicted, especially for areas near Lake Superior.

This could affect Central at Silver Bay, and Superior at Denfeld (DECC).

What--mommy and daddy didn't want to crack up the Escalades so they called the A.d.'s and told them to cancel? Give me a break! Maybe some of the "elder" members on the board could comment on this. All I know is I don't remember so many games being canceled because of snow. Nothing but candyasses now days.

Maybe they would like to change hockey into a non-winter sport?

Ok then.....called and got 4 - 0 Warroad 12 minutes left in second with the bubble guys getting plenty of ice.....shots are 31 to 5. Gotta find a smiley that's sleeping. this one's drank too much Red Bull.
