How many gamble at the hockey games?
Is there a need to be watching the games for not just the kids gambling, but watching for everyone that gambles at the high school hockey games?

Well, I think you use the word well a bit much.

Are the kids playing the clock game, betting on who scores next or running a bookmaking operation in the bleachers? If it's just kids entertaining themselves I wouldn't get too worked up.

The clock game is sick. It's a state tourney tradition.suntzu wrote:GopherPuckPlayer wrote:Well I know that it goes on, well where I watch the games, well it is not much money, but it I think brings some fans to watch the games.AngusYoung wrote:What the &^&* are you talking about?

What exactly is this clock game?
I enjoy the First Goal Scorer Contest. Everyone tosses in a dollar and picks a player. First goal wins the pot.

I do or should I say did....but I never get to collect.
The only reason I'm complaining is I'm out of a icy, cold, golden, yummy malted beverage and I'm not going out tonight to get some.
Geez...I think I just talked myself into walking down to the corner pub
...see you fellas when I get back.

So you have a group of friends you're sitting with at the game... you each pick a number 0-9 after every whistle you put a dollar in the pot and then at the next whistle that stops play what ever the last number on the clock is the person wins the pot... and repeat until broke!
(some play after a goal the pot triples but that tends to get expensive)

Ya Plug!

there is another game...everyone puts a buck in or what ever amount you want to play for and u pass the money every time the whistle blows and if there is a penalty it skips the next person to get the money and when a team scores the one with the money takes the cash...makes the games a little more intense
