I guess private schools do have Bantam teams:

Which do and which don't that people know of?
If every private school had Bantam teams would that make people more happy about the "stealing players" comments?

I followed the link, and congrats to St. Thomas for winning that tourney. I was there with Moose Lake, and I would have loved to see that match up.
Unfortunately, our coach decided to play our back up goalie who hasn't played much this year in the 2nd round against Fargo. But, no excuses, all the kids played well. A lot of good match ups at that tourney.
I didn't see a major difference in skill level between the private school and the smaller associations. I can't say that for all, but I know we have been recruited from on a regular basis by a private school. The philosophy around our school now is, if your good enough to go D-1, you can do it from our school just as well as a private school. Just have to work to get it.
Congrats to St. Thomas, well played tourney!
