I don't believe it is on youtube, I'll ask around from the people I heard from and see if anyone was filming it or at least a picture of it.

I'll also be at the AV v. Edina Green game tonight should be a good one Edina is a good team and AV has been playing well lately in league and tournaments, hopefully can keep it up for the season with these solid teams.

Burnsville 8

Richfield 3

At the end of the first it was 2-1 richfield then they fell apart in the second.
they scored 6 in the second period. then richfield got there game back together and scored one then burnsville scored a weak one at the end.

it was a good game for two periods but the second period was brutial. Burnsville always had a guy leaking out and they got about half a dozen breakaways

Richfield was missing their best defencemen. it could of changed the game totally or have little effect i am not sure but i would want to see these two teams play again

Burnsville/ Richfield game

Post by Hockey guy1486 »

The score was 8-3! There is no way 1 player can make up 5 goals, sorry. Richfield has a nice team but remember they don't have an A team. The "half a dozen" breakaways must mean that B'ville has speed up front.

How many of the breakaways did they score on?
I agree, unless it was Ray Borque they were missing, one buy at the B1 level is not going to make that big a difference.

Woodstick, Burnsville is a solid Bantam B1 team - definitely top 10. Talented kids with decent coaching from what I've seen. They may have been missing their top D man too.

Seriously, was that necessary? It's late December. Can we stop reposting that score, please?!?!

Sorry Eagleguy.
It was probably not, but.... it was the only comparative score I could find that was around the same time.

Wow
Edina White beat Edina Green 2-1

That should move Edina Green to first place on LPH :)

A lot of upsets this past week. Both Edina teams are very good. Either could end up in regionals.

What is an upset? Really, at this level any number of things can change the outcome. A middle-school dance, a new version of Halo, wearing the wrong color hat, you name it, it can happen.

The Northern teams don't feel it would be an upset to beat the city slickers. The boys down south don't feel they should lose to anyone. So we play on the ice. Good stuff.

It should be a fun week with Bloomington up and running and Edina kicking off the fun dash for the cash ending as we move toward meaningful games.

Eagledude in black...what is the secret code this year...I am booking my room for Moorhead and need to let the lady at the front desk know....???
