Marshall vs New Ulm

Post by SWHockeyGuy »

Great game between Marshall and New Ulm.
It was back and forth the whole game....very fun to watch.

New Ulm went up 2-0 in the first.

After the second it was still 2-0

Marshall came back with two goals in the first five minutes of the third.
Then they scored the final goal at about the ten minute mark and held New Ulm off the rest of the way.

For a final score of Marshall 3 and New Ulm 2

Very upsetting for the New Ulm girls. They play their hearts out and their goalie let one or two goals in that shouldn't have been let in. Great game though.

Very nice of you to single out the goalie as the responsible party for the loss.

It's too bad there are always people willing to single players out, in lieu of keeping it team wide.

I didn't see the game, but would be confident this goalie didn't prohibit NU from scoring another goal??

Great game though.

inthestands and Twinnesota is your house in utopia land or is it in pc land. My guess is had the original poster credited someone with scoring 5 goals that would have been just fine. With every good performance, there are equal bad performances. The point of the message board is to share it all, not just what you wanted to hear.

Some times a defensemen falls down, sometimes a key forward has a beer and is suspended, sometime a center throws the puck right in front of the net. Sometimes a goalie lets in a soft goal or two.

These are the things we talk about on these message boards, like it or not. If we are not allowed to talk about the hole game then why waste our time talking at all.

I don't have a clue if the goals were soft or not but in someones opinion they were. Maybe the goalie stood on their head for a couple other saves to equal out her performance. Who know's but I want to hear how others saw the game because I WASN'T their.
