East has lost three straight, albeit close games. Time for them to bounce back.

They're not playing badly, but East needs a win to get their feet under them. This looks like an excellent bounceback opportunity against a team that will likely be tired. East will also be glad to be back in the DECC.

With Moorhead already playing Moorhead and Grand Rapids by this time... The turnaround is about 20 hrs from start time to start time and an hour and a half drive from Friday to Saturday....

I like the Greyhounds in this one.

Two storied programs having a rough go of it in the early stages of this season. Spuds looking good tonight, I'll take them with the weekend sweep. 4-2 Spuds over the Hounds.

Spuds are still mad about the pounding they took from Roseau and will finish the week on a positive note. Spuds had a tough week of games.

East is due. This will be their comeback. I don't think it will be a close game.

I don't think the turnaround will affect the outcome of this game...it will be a close game...1 goal plus maybe an empty netter...I like the home team, but this is truly a toss-up game that will come down to goaltending.

Sad to say but, if east can generate a large amount of shots they will win easily(spuds goalie didn't impress at GR) 5-2.

East generally has no problem generating the shots. Goals have been a different story so far this year. This could be an odd matchup in that respect.

4-2 hounds

4 goals in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd. Not a whole lot of defense being played in this one.

Final
5-3 for Duluth East
East out shoots Moorhead 28- 23 (guestimate)

Moorhead split goaltending Wagner in first, then Marks.
