Anoka vs. North Metro
FINAL:
ANOKA 4
NM 2
SCORING:
ANOKA -O'NEILL FROM BELISLE (PP) 1-0
ANOKA - OLSON FROM CAMPBELL 2-0
NM - NOT SURE (SH) 2-1
ANOKA - BELISLE FROM CAMPBELL AND DERKS 3-1
ANOKA - RUSH (UNASSISTED) EN GOAL 4-1
NM - NOT SURE (PP)...WITH 12 SECONDS TO GO 4-2
The goalie for NM (I believe it was Taylor Felton) was outstanding in goal and kept NM in the game. Brandon Burrell also showed why he is one of the best defenseman in the State...he played great and the entire NM team worked extremely hard throughout this game.
Tony Day also played very well in goal for Anoka and recorded his first varsity win.
Anoka's record improves to 4-1. They play Coon Rapids and Duluth East next week.

That's called "balance"; some of this is good, some of this is...well....not so good.wbmd wrote:That'll help shut up some of the Pioneer backers, however, it's going to bring all of the Tartan posters back on here once again.pioneers wrote:Tartan 3 H-M 2 Empty netter was the winner

4-3 Park in OT. Josh Stewart was phenomenal in nets for Park, Colette was brutal.crouching tiger wrote:Not sure if its true but i heard WB lost to Park in OT

how embarrasing for WB...
Coach Moser is bringing out the competitiveness in these guys, it is something that the program has been dying for. Teams had better take notice and not expect a night off against the Park boys any more. They will put up a fight and not roll over like the past couple of years. This win is a big shot in the arm for Coach Moser.
