who played in goal?
LN - ThomasSTEV16 wrote:who played in goal?
EV - Krob
Stev16,
LN is extremely challenged offensively. EV controlled most of the game and should have scored 5+. Thomas played great and Krob was steady for the shutout. We will see how EV holds up Tuesday against Burnsville and Thursday against Minnetonka.

it appears lakeville is going to play like this the whole year.. they get outshot but they have 2 good goalies and 4 solid defensemen who will keep the games low scoring.. the forwards before this game didnt get many chances but converted on almost every one.. even though it appears they get outplayed i would say that this team is going to sneak up on this conference

Try this one on pioneerhockey12, I live in Lakeville, and eagles is right, the game was not that close. Eastview controlled the play, and LN got very few scoring chances all game. THERE IS NO WAY THEY SPENT MORE TIME IN THE OFFENSIVE ZONE THAN EASTVIEW. The LN goalie kept them in the game. In the end, Eastview tallied the shutout. What surprises me is that LN beat EP. The stars must have been aligned on that night.

well eagles you must live in av cuz the game i saw was alot more even than that... lakeville had the puck in the offensive end probably more than eastview and had chances with the goalie pulled at the end.. close game could have went either way

In the EP game LN moved the puck up the ice alot better and took advantage of the times where EPs D got too aggressive. Not to mention one weak goal to start the scoring.
I agree with both The Godfather and pioneerhockey. LN did get outplayed vs EV that was obvious, but pioneers is right on how they play. EV had lots of chances but LNs goalie played well and there D iced the puck when they need too. If Maloney doesnt make that great pass when LNs D dove to take away the pass for EVs second goal and if LN would have converted on one chance they could have tied or gone to OT. I know thats a lot of woulda, coulda, shoulda but LN isnt going to get blown out by anyone this year and with how down section 1AA is they are probably going to be playing in March.
