I think there might have been a kid lets say 3 years ago? who played for some school like STA or something? He might have been in 8th grade, and he might be on the U.S.A under 18 team right now?
yea...he played for STA moron, not hopkins...Travis Boyd is no Jordan Schroeder. Lets get serious

I wholeheartedly agree (and it pains me to agree with a Tartan fan at any point... almost worse than with a HM fan).

It should be a real "clash of the titans"... uh... wait a minute....

Anyway, I'm sure it'll be doozie of a game on Tuesday!

I dont see Blaine being ranked. They are 2-2 in the NWSC. Centennial and Champlin park are at the top of that confrence. With CP playing Osseo on thursday, and the mighty Irondale on Saturday, look for them to get some ink before the Schwann's Cup

Who have they lost to and what were the scores? I believe it was 2 ranked teams above them and on top of that they were both 1 goal games... Find another team who is worthy of being in the top 20 that has played a decently difficult schedule.

explanation would be good... I explained myself and how I kept them in the top 20... You have Bville up there at 10 I believe after losses...

Loss to South St Paul is not helping their cause... I dont feel they merit a top spot until they prove they can be consistent. Nice to see them beat Virginia, East and WBL but a loss to South St Paul hurts...

I am saying they should be a lot higher than 16th. Don't you think?

AHA
I think one was Wayzata and I do not see them on the list. Not a bad team but below 500 I think.
A loss to Rosemount - good team, good record, but still a loss.
A win over Shakopee.

Tradition or history should not get you glory, what have you done lately.
They'll prove me worng, I am sure, but right now saying their top 20 is like saying East Grand Forks is better than Park Rapids.

It must be nice not having a leg to stand on.

I think it will be interesting to see where teams land after this week and any holiday tourneys they may be in.

I agree after careful consideration... As someone else wrote, I wonder what it will be like after the holiday tourneys because these rankings could get screwed up.

I’m hoping to see ROSEVILLE added to some of these lists after the Schwans Cup. They and their leading scorer, Adam Mueller, (a preseason Mr. Hockey watch list candidate) have been noticeably absent in the posts this year. Where’s the Image ??

They have been noted, I believe it was a goalie fight topic but they were in there.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the votes of confidence.

Holy Angels may have a losing record, but they're still Holy Angels, and they're very capable of beating anyone anytime. Hence the ranking. They may have lost to Wayzata, which has a losing record, but take a look at Wayzata's early schedule...3 of first 4 games vs. Hill, Edina, and East.

EVHS will drop significantly with their huge blow out loss to Bville. I am sure the rankings will change after the weekend...
