1st win in 07'

Post by bardown10 »

Hastings won their first game of the season and in the year 2007. Breaking a losing streak of over 20 games. They defeated Eagan 2-1.

I am really happy for those kids. They have worked extra hard this year. Congrats boys. Don't let your coach screw it up now, because we all now he can.

Welch should be a candidate for Coach of the Year.

Not me - it may quite a while before we extoll the virtues of Big Russ again (another win) so drink up.

Let's hope it's not the only win of the season.
More than likely won't be considering every game they have been in it's been only a one goal difference sometime in the 3rd period besides the Hibbing game and they still have two top senior forwards out yet even with this win.

Where's Hockeynut now? Like I said Russ will get the most out of these guys, Nice opponent to get that monkey off your back. Eagan is no slouch. Keep it rolling boys.

Your not serious. Are you? Congrats to Hastings on a nice win, but i think it's a bit early to start handing out coach of the year awards. No need to wet your pants here. Remember Eagan's only 2-7. These upsets happen every week. There kids.. That's still the 1st win in almost a year. That's an incredible stat for a town of that size. When they beat Woodbury or Roseville than we can get excited.
