How do you find the rink???

:D
E70, take highway 2 into Bagley, take a right at the only stop light in town. Drive 2 blocks and look for a sign that says "Bagley Youth Hockey Rink" on the right hand side. If you take a right just before the sign it is the first "building" on the left hand side.
 He was kidding. He knows exactly were every rink in Northern Minnesota is.
I stopped in Ada a couple of years back and asked the mayor (didn't know he was the mayor at first) "Where's your rink?"

"Oh, they closed the roller skating rink up years ago."

I always thought ADA was on the east of the Red River.

Word is, Da Warriors don't have as many recruits as they did last year. This is the year to make it happen...

Lehrke goes off for 8 points tonight - take it to the bank.
The Godfathers figured they didn't need help this season as it looks right now they are correct....PR better make it happen this season; I doubt they can; cuz after their superstar leaves they delve back into the depths of 5 to 7 seed. :P

Which bank is that...the piggy bank? 8 against the sisters of the poor sure might impress SCSU but not the UND staff.

oh, he'll play. Because of a couple closer than normal calls with bagley over the last few years. If all goes well Stahnke will have him and a couple others in street clothes for the third.

Everybody catch that one...next question: how's he hurt and how long is he out? Shoulder or wrist or ribs and which one?

warrior07...Stahnke's new best friend...little hint I don't care if it's a third line wing you don't tell ANYBODY about an injury. I asked the injury question to see if you guys were dumb enough to bite...I just landed the biggest catch north of Lake Mille Lacs.

Notice how quick Art=bad ice covered this thread....

I doubt that is true, I know he isn't a 4.00 student, but if there is any truth to Colorado College talking with him my guess is that grades are not a problem. CC has higher academic standards than all the other teams in the WCHA and if they are after him than that is a rumor. Also, someone said he was talking to a Mankato coach after their Tuesday game.

Rumor has it he failed a couple of classes last year and it may have deterred a couple of top notch schools from offering... As I said "rumor has it" but it would explain why they have not offered and what he is holding out for.

As for being a bit beat up, I am sure some teams are roughin him up a bit. I would take it as a major compliment...

I know for a fact he has never failed a class in his life.

I thought i explained it pretty clear but i guess not...CC doesn't talk to kids who have trouble in school. You have to excell in school to go there. As said, he isn't a 4.00 but i know he has never failed a class.

absolutley a rumor

We don't need to speculate on someone's school prowess, GPA, or passing/failing on here.

Some time tonight we will know if he's playing or not. If not, because of an injury, we should find out how serious and we all hope that it is not an injury, but if so, we wish him a speedy recovery.

If grades, I am sure he, his family and his teachers will work hard to rectify it.

I agree, there is absolutely no reason to be talking about kids by name, their grades, habits or anything else personal on this board. [-X

WOW, the idiots are prowling. Who made up the bad grades problem? He played on the PR baseball team that went to state--that would not have happened had he flunked or been failing just one class. All respect gone from me for whoever started that viscious rumor. Oh, and he's not injured.

mohunk...was one of the PR Peanut Gallery...warrior07...to be exact if you read the thread...that spilled that juicy tidbit about the injury...whether it's a rumor or not doesn't matter...the point I was trying to make is...if a player even a 3rd liner has a boo-boo of some sort you don't tell anybody. That's been one of the biggest rules in team sports forever.

As for the grades issue your dead-on that falls in to the catagory of private along with the other "issues".

You will know him by the activity around him. The women will be drooling and fainting and the men running out of fear.
