This is not surpising to anyone. With youth hockey association split-offs and OE changes, ER was predicted to be down this year and for the next few. The A peewee class is looking good though.

All community based programs go through down years.

Hanna is fine, they started Strand and he played fine until about 12 left in the third and let in a couple bad ones. Hanna went in and let in another weak one.

I don't see how Jack had a chance at that one. Strand had 3 very week ones. He's usually so solid.

Yea wether or not jack had a chance at that one, I think the biggest thing I came to realize this game was how unphysical the Cougars are. The Trib is very misleading.

Well the Refs had something to do with how physical you could be last night. Lots of penalties. And they normally are very physical on the forcheck, but as you saw, THAT didn't happen either.

Hess and Smith gave the only solid efforts that I saw.

It looked as though Centennial was overlooking the Crimson and looking ahead to Thursday's match-up in Duluth. With all its depth, you can't overlook any team in the NWSC. The game was called tight by the referees and Centennial did not allow themselves to make a comeback with some of the penalties they took later in the game.

Hats off to Maple Grove for a nice win but look for the Cougars to rebound with a big win Thursday night.

Yea the refs did call the game extremely tight, but many stick/lazy penalties and not any roughings as a result of a big hit.

Gross played well from MG. As did Frakes.

Lol, I see. Had it been another brand of chewing tobacco he would have been in the clear.
