I would say outside of the last 2 games (Moorhead, Hibbing) that the Rams have been off to a slow start compared to what they are capable to do.
Now that the voters are being instructed to count Ness as a senior, what happens if he wins Mr. Hockey and then falls short of the credit requirements and returns for his actual senior year?

Although this is a big load and probably unprecedented; Aaron is way to BRIGHT, DETERMINED and FOCUSED to fall short with credit requirements. Kid is straight A student. It doesn't matter how smart you are, taking two years of school in one year is very, very hard. Add in the demands of playing varsity hockey, occasional weakends with U.S. NTDP and traveling around for many other tournaments, it could happen. MAny people are skeptical about Schreoder getting his and most think it will be harder for Aaron to get his because he started later. MAny college football players try to graduate high school a semester early to join their teams for spring practice. Many fall short, even the smartest players, because their just isn't enough time in their day to do it and try to keep getting stronger and improving at their sport. It is not unlikely that it will happen and could cause a problem, so don't act like it never happens and don't act the credits are already given to him. It will be a struggle for mr. Ness

Not anybody that has a good grasp of his situation. As I said in another thread, Schroeder started the school year as a senior because he already made up the required work to advance a grade. So he is just doing a normal school year to graduate.
Ness may have it "tougher" in comparison but I have yet to hear any well informed individual act "worried" that he can't do it.

They gave watchdog a diploma, Ness will be fine.

I've really liked this kid for two years as an outstanding all-around supporting player. It'll be interesting if he can shine brighter as the main man.
If he can and leads this very young team throught the season, we will be considering him come March.
Jt brown is definately cleaning house right now for MR hockey. As soon as Barnes or Hendrickson on Burnsville snap out of their mini slump, they may erupt for a blizzard of points. Ness is showing why he is one of the best in the country and nick leddy is having a consistent year at EP.

Where's the love for Ryan Bohrer from CDH. He has 12 goals in 6 games against good competition (Blake, Breck, Benilde, Hastings, Forest Lake, Stillwater). Watch him tonight on FSN against the Cadets.

How about both players played on the same Elite League team?
I think Leddy is the Sr but they do have a D that is number 33 that is a good player and a Jr. Graf I love the Tommy ODonnell call he is playing really well and is a great player. He is kind of carrying that young team at Jefferson right now.
