No offense to our Ram friends, but 99% of high school fans are going to cheer every time a green team loses this year!

I just think it makes for a good storyline. To have Jefferson emerge as a viable contender in 2AA while sending the message that someone could beat Roseau is pretty cool.

Didn't happen, so we'll just have to stick with the one that has Roseau as the Pakistani doubles squash team of Minnesota HS hockey.

That brings the Rams to 8-0 then? By far this was their hugest and most hard fought win of the season to this point. Congrats to Roseau on the win and to Jefferson for giving them all the could handle. I wish both teams the best the rest of the way.

Roseau can never be added to the list...home of Neal, Aaron, and Paul Broten, not to mention Butsy Erickson and many, many others. No, no, Roseau will NEVER be considered the same!

Not the same for sure, but nobody un-green would mind them losing a game or two.

Shots 34-33 in favor of Denfeld (Not that it matters)

Most regulars have seen me praise Denfeld on this "bored" at one time or another, but I'm going a different route for Denfeld on this one..

SEASON'S OVER CLAP-CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP!!! Wow.... :x
What???

Okay, this must be some kind of Bizarro world (Seinfeld fans get the reference), because I have faith in Denfeld rebounding and doing very well in their section. I chalk this one up to letdown following the Cathedral game.

But then, I might not know what the heck I'm talking about, so consider the source. Image

Or as Abe Lincoln told General McClellan on the eve of the first battle of Bull Run: "You are green, they are green; you are all green alike."

I guess deep down inside we are all Roseau Rams fans because the are the epitomy of high school hockey in Minnesota.....their history is rich, the town is small, they were good way back when, and they have a great team now.

I saw the first two periods. 4-0 Hill after two. Hill had two much speed for WBL D. Especially the 1st line.

Richfield 2
Saint Louis Park 1 in OT

This was a good game. Up and down the ice for both teams. Chad Ballad played real well in nets for Richfield again stopping 39 of 40 shots. Richfield scored the winner with 29 seconds remaining in OT.

Lakeville outplayed rosemount so bad in the first and 3rd period it was ridiculous.. jt had 2 breakaway goals in the 2nd.
I dont know what game you were talking about here pioneer, and Browns breakaway's were in the first and second not just the second..Lakeville did outplay Rosemount in the first but not in the 3rd at all. Rosemount coming off the late night overtime thriller(but loss) with Brainerd looked a little sloppy this afternoon, possibly from the night before but regardless just looked really sloppy. They were lucky to come out of that 1st period 1-0 on a breakaway goal by Brown from a pretty pass by Percy. And as far as the shot's they needed someone who could count shots for BOTH teams...Rosemount had 38 shots or even more but they were failed to be put on the board? Didnt make sense to me but what could I do I was in the stands. Also the goal in the 3rd was with not even .1 seconds left on Rosemount's 4th line who saw their first action of the night..Rosemount's first line carried the team again with the help of a stellar performance by Morgan.

pioneer were you at the game?
