Not sure on the extent of her injury, but she was in a great deal of pain and it took at least 15 minutes before they moved her off the ice. Appeared to be an arm or shoulder injury. It came on a 2 on 1 when a beautiful pass sent her in all alone. At full speed she made hard contact with the Edina goalie, trying to score from in close, and then appeared to crash into the boards just behind the net. This came towards the end of the 3rd period and probably would have been the game winner had it gone in. Hopefully she's not too seriously hurt and will be back; if not it would obviously be a huge loss for the Ponies.

I'm not sure what the injury was. She was in a lot of pain and kept screaming "my elbow!" There was speculation that it was a dislocated elbow, separated shoulder, and/or broken wrist. Hopefully she is alright.

I did hear tonight that she has a dislocated elbow. No word yet on how long she'll be out.

Chaska totally dominated. Kennedys goalie kept it close for 2 periods.

Chaska also had 2 goalies and 19 skaters on the bench fo a total of 21. Is that not to many?

Most teams outplay Kennedy! it is their Goalie Hunter, that keeps them in all of the games.
Too bad she transfered from PL she could have had many more wins under her belt.

Edina Tourney

Hill Murray 4 BSM 1

Interesting note 4th/last goal was credited to HM Goalie Paige as puck was passed back by BSM to point but went length of ice into open net.

I'm pretty sure the roster limitation rule only applies to post-season (sections and state) tournaments. I know that is how it is in other sports.

In reply to hockeydad on the 20 roster limit. You can only dress 20 players and it does not matter whether it is a regular season or playoff games. I was told this directly by the head of officials for girls hockey.

It was Cretin over BSM 3-2, not 3-1.

Also,

Blaine over Bemidji 5-4.

Still looking for an AHA-Edina score.
Still looking for a MV-Wayzata score.

Edina beat Holy Angels 3-2. AHA led 2-0 then Edina got it going.

Farmington played well in the 3rd against Lakeville North but they kicked in a goal which should not have been counted.

Amazing performance by Roseville, beating the Nos. 1 and 2 teams back-to-back. Are they the new No. 1 team?

All 3 teams are good, amazing performance? They did what they had to and came away with a couple of good wins. Dont forget they lost to EP and Stillh20 a couple weeks ago. Don't think they are #1 yet, but have potential to be. I have feeling alot is going to happen between now and Tourney time. 2nd half season in suburban east should be a good one also.

Agree with Goalzilla. Tight games. Wasn't pretty at times for Roseville but they wanted it more and worked harder. The goaltender Brausen had a solid game and held the Raiders in it. Both Roseville and Stillwater have good young players and will continue to be strong rivals. EP has a large group of seniors who could rise up at tourney time. By virtue of their schedule and results, I would still have to give the nod to Stillwater at #1 for now and I would still put EP at #2. However I feel Grand Rapids is right there with EP and Stillwater now. At a tier below the top three I see Roseville, Edina, Hopkins and Holy Angels. The great thing is there is no runaway teams this year and this parity will offer up some very exciting section and tourney action.

Yo, Keepitreal,

not to stir the pot per se, well ok, lets stir it, How is Roseville a "tier below Stillwater, EP, and GR/G" and they are the only team to beat each of those teams this year?
Outside of Stillwater and EP, their only other loss this year was to Edina in the beginning of the season...and they had to play their JV goaltender due to illness and injury? Just an FYI, Kaposia was the first time Roseville has had a full roster since November. In fact, like Stillwater, they lost a key player for a month due to illness, and just got her back for Kaposia.
So tell me, how are they a tier below the others?
