I love it. Same teams, every year in the top ten. Mark my words, Moose lake will be going to regions out of District 11 this year, just as they have the past 2 years. Being the under dog has its perks.
I agree with 60% of the above list, but their are a few sleepers up north.
I have not seen Moose Lake, but I will be watching and listening now.
Red Lake Falls is another one, but do not think they will advance out of D16 (but again, I have been wrong before).

Sorry no luv for the north just yet.
I think Woodbury Blue is probably top three, if not top two in the state. They are big and fast, and they can move the puck and score. But I don't think Eagan is a top 15 team, maybe top 20-25, but I don't think that they are that good.

That's okay, most people know that the big associations B-1 teams have a lot of 1st year kids that are A players the next year. Those associations with only one bantam team (at the B level) can have some quality A level kids that give them a chance to compete and the rest of us enjoy the good years and make sure everyone has fun in the not-so-good years.

Still can't figure out why people are still so angry on this team. you didn't beat maple grove 3-1, you beat them 5-3. They were winning, or it was tied, most of the game and your team got some quick ones in the third period. As we've already posted, we lost to them 8-2, our worst game of the year no doubt and we've bounced back just fine thank you. Good luck this weekend in Edina. Maybe you can blow off some steam there. Again, none of this matters until end of Feb. and into March. relax.
haha sorry.. just a little bit touchy with the b2's on our team and forbert making the teams not the way there supposed to be.. and hopefully in edina well win one game haha

With all due respect, neither WBL squad should be ranked nearly that high. They've got to first beat some high quality teams before I would put them that high.

Ditto to that one...
I would also put DE K in the top 10. Ya they outshoot teams but they have to start seeing net not goalie.
I'm not sure about WBL Black, but WBL Orange can make some average teams look like studs when they don't come to play.
This years league as a whole looks like a bush league as compared to last years. This year there are like 5 teams and the rest are just the rest.
Last year the B1 pool was deeper by a long shot. The top 20 last year was a top 20.
IMO... WBL Orange is about 8 and Black about the same
In all of the post, I'm suprised that no one has even mentioned Chisago, even though they are currently sitting on top of District 10. Granted, they have played a game or two more than the next 3 or 4, and Centennial hasn't lost yet, but still, any team that is sitting in the top 2 or 3 of District 10 should probably be in the top 20.
Here is how I see it.
1. Wayzata Blue - They stack there 1st B-1 team and Split the others
2. Blake - This is there JV team for next year, and don't have a A team
3.Minnetonka
3.Woodbury Blue
3.Chaska
3.Burnsville
3.WBL Black
3.Maple Grove
3. EP Red
3.Eagan
3.WBL Orange
3.Stillwater
3.Duluth East
3. Moorehead
4.Champlain Park
4.Centennial Red
4.Edina White
4.Edina Green
4.EP Black
I rate them this way because all of the 3's and 4's could beat each other at any given time. they are to close to rate any differently. Wayzata Blue and Blake are stacked teams, if other districts stacked there teams Wayzata and Blake wouldn't have a prayer against the Edina's Centennials and WBL's

This looks pretty accurate to me, though I'd probably put Champlin Park in with the 3's. Also, I thought that Centennial DID stack their teams. Is that not true? I know D3 allows it, and I thought D10 and a few others did as well.

I am not sure about Centennial, although I think your right, I disagree with any stacking, why doesn't Wayzata have a Bantam A-1 & A-2 team. That would develop the kids a lot better. I understand that Blake wanted to get into the A level and for some reason it wasn't allowed.
I just have to comment on a couple things...1: This has nothing to do with rankings but champlin park dropped out of the Mora tournament cuz they didnt want to play outside in the cold. yes the temps were about -10 but come on...get tough....2: MPLS park beat Woodbury blue 4-1 how is it that woodbury blue is ranked so high? they are getting beat by teams not even ranked.

Any team can have a bad game or a hot goalie, Wood-bury is pretty good.

I would say you would have to add Apple Valley into the #4 team. They have beaten one of the Edina's and tied the other. Tied EP Black, beat WBL Orange and had some games that where close with some of the 3's and beat Chaska.
You could go any way with any of the 3's and 4's, other than the 2 stacked teams, any game could go any way, we could critique all of the ratings on who is who, but the bottom line is that the #3's &4's are so close it is sick.
Apple Valley has beat some good teams, But since the 1st of the month they are 2-4-1
And there 2 wins were Forest lake 9-20-2 and Fargo, Not excatly impressive.
If you ask me Eagan is underrated, if you go by let's play hockey.
