Okay, this must be some kind of Bizarro world (Seinfeld fans get the reference), because I have faith in Denfeld rebounding and doing very well in their section. I chalk this one up to letdown following the Cathedral game.

But then, I might not know what the heck I'm talking about, so consider the source. Image

Lee, you've come along ways this year. Perhaps a Hunters jersey is on tap for the Christmas list? Lol, I kid, I kid.

I think Denfeld has talent and I want to believe they'll turn it around but after this weekend I am skeptical. Winning the Rochester tournament would be a good way to get me back on the Hunters train.

Tonka 8
Rogers 3
I have no idea how they beat my beloved Rogers team

These guys are all I thought they were, they move the puck extremly well, their feet never stop moving, and it's very difficult to penetrate their defense, and they also have a very potent power play.

Also there fan section was very classy, congratulating the Rogers players efforts between periods.

It was nice for Rogers to have them on their schedule, it will make them a better team in the long run.
Hopefully they can get a rematch next year.
Congrats and good luck to the Skippers. :D

Rbk-I was at the Rosemount/North game and I totally get what you are saying. You are right JTs first break away was in the first but with only like 18 seconds left (and it was a terrible play by the LN defender to let him get behind him!). Also your right about the shots they werent counted very well but its like that at every rink, the home team is going to get the benefit of the doubt. And again the shots dont completely tell how the game went because for the whole first North really did dominate the game but then the second Rosemount looked better and there were a couple power plays for each side. Then Id say the third was pretty even. One PP goal for Rosemount, an even strength for LN and then the goal with time expiring which did nothing but pad Vivants stats (who actually made a very nice deke early in the game but didnt convert on it). But take away a lapse or two by LNs D to let a kid like JT get behind you and it was a pretty even game. Rosemount didnt show me they were a top 10 team (granted they did play the night before I believe).

PS Don Lucia was in the building.
