Edina (8-0) v. Benilde-St. Margaret's (7-1) 12-26-07
Two top teams. A possible state match up in March.
I got the date correct.

Edina should win this game.
Benilde is primarily one line strong. Although, Patterson helps strengthen the forwards. However, he is still a sophomore and will experience the hardest hitting game he has ever been in. Also, Benilde has three strong D and plays the heck out of Student.
Edina is too big, too strong and too deep for the Red Knights.
Goalie for the Red Knights will have to stand on his head for them to win.

I believe this game would be what we call an upset alert.....whoever wins this game also will go on to win the whole tourny, i bet these two teams are a little bummed the play each other right off the bat but it's fun to see for everyone else.....Personally i don't see Edina losing in this one but who knows
Edina 4
BSM 2

It will be interesting to see who Benilde plays in goal. Are they still going with the three goalie rotation? Or, have they found their guy?

Edina vs BSM
Giles leads with a crunching blow over Pauly, 5-1.

It's too bad the Schwan's people haven't figured it out yet. The silver and bronze divisions should be played on one teams home ice, or possibly a close neutral rink. Nothing against Aldrich or Brookly Park, they are both great rinks, but if Edina and BSM were to play at SLP or Braemar at 7 pm instead of 3pm at Aldrich, they would draw 3000 insted of 300. The same could be said for Breck and Wayzata. The STA - CDH game is perfect for Aldrich.

Actually if you can count they have played 9 games. This is who they have beat and scores and i am 100% sure that equals 9-0.HShockeywatcher wrote:ehshockey, your belief is incorrect, they are 8-0.
Neutral sites are perfect for this. It's a shame it doesn't draw a bigger crowd, but location is probably not the reason, I'm guessing timing is.
Maple Grove 6-1
Wayzata 5-1
Rochester Century 8-2
Eastview 4-2
Burnsville 4-3
Chaska 8-2
Grand Rapids 3-2
Elk River 4-3
Eden Prairie 4-1
