Minnetonka (7-1) v. Centennial (5-2) 12-26-07

Both teams started out to be favorites in state, Centennial faltered a bit and is on a 2 game losing streak...

I like Centennial in this one. Centennial's forward group is stronger than Tonka's. They have solid D and have good goal tending. Pitlick is playing very well this year.

Centennial will have to get after Gardiner and Raiola on the fore check. Take advantage of their over aggressive nature.

im gonna go with the cougars in this one. Too many sophs in the Tonka lineup. Should be close, 4-3.

Tonka by a goal or maybe two. The only thing that would make me look towards the Cougars is that they have lost two running, and maybe want some resolution to that whole mess. It will be hard to roll into the Xcel on a two game losing streak tho.

Does anyone know if there's a way to watch this game (or any of the other Schwan Cup games) online or on TV?

Since I am such a homer, I'm taking the Cougars! I think they can win, but the way they have played their last two games, I'm not sure they will. But like I said, I'm a homer and I'll take the Cougars!

I'll take Minnetonka in this one. I've heard nothing but great things about them all year and that they are going to be a contender. Centennial will be as well, they have a great team with Pitlick and all. However I think the Skippers will be too much for them. Give me Tonka, 4-2. Possible empty netter.

this should be a great game. I think the outcome of this game will depend on what cougar team shows up...if its the team that started 5-0 then they will win but if its 0-2 team from the past two games then Tonka will win. Im going to go out on a limb and say the Cougars 5-3 with an empty netter.
