Apple Valley-10
Alumni-17

Fischer(UofM), Medvec(Vermont), Politz, Sexton(Bowling Green), just a few notables for the alumni team but it was pretty stacked fun to watch though both teams just having a good time. Lundin was there but didn't play.

Hermantown - 9

Alumni - 11 or 12 (My source couldn't remember exactly. He's used to keeping track of scores after 12:00 when his brain wakes up :) )

Grand Rapids and their alumni split in two shinny type games. Good battles.

Probably one of the more funnier things I've read on here in a while cuz it's true  The nearly dead part and the fact its usually a closer game :D

The only real big name at ours that I can think of was Jared Stewart(Mankato)

Warroad quit having Alumni versus the HS team about eight years ago after Izzy thinking it was a real game ran one of the HS stars from behind and I believe injured him for a game or two.

Anyway the Young Guns (recent grads) game finished 7 - 6 in a overtime shoot-out where Tyler Potts stopped 34 shots for the winning team and Mark Thiele stopped 16 shots and took the loss. Better ask Lear what kind of a save percentage that is... FYI...Potsy stopped Aaron Marvin and stuffed GiGi in the Shootout.

Are you kidding me? None of those guys were out there against the Varsity squad. It was practically the 05-06 Jefferson team.

Connelly, Overman, Levine, Dieter, Labombard were out there

2 Lundin's. Matt Lundin, who plays goalie with Mercyhurst, sat out the alumni game as he is coming back from a shoulder injury. Mike Lundin, the defenseman, is playing in the NHL for the Tampa Bay Lightning and did play this year as he was not in town.

Also in attendence for the alumni was Luke Flicek, a senior at Army. Luke is in the top 17 players in the NCAA scorers so far this year with 20 points in 14 games.

Apple Valley has 5 former HS players currently playing D1 hockey and 3 playing D3 hockey. Goes to show you don't have to leave your community HS to go to a private school to get noticed.....
