Little Falls Holiday Tournament

Post by GopherPuckPlayer »

What are the thoughts of the Little Falls holiday tournament. They have a few better teams coming in this year, will this help the production for the Flyers?

I am thinking that it is a round robin as all three games are already scheduled.

Who cares! What a bunch of patsies for the home town Flyers. I'd rather watch paint dry....

I agree AY. I wonder why they didn't get New Prague to come again.

This year the Holiday tourney is only a four team tournament. It is round robin LF plays Morris on thursday, Faribault on Friday and Holy Family on Saturday.

They'll be a decent team next year if Ben stays, but I'm pretty sure he won't. If Ben leaves, I think they will still be competitive in the CLC, but will be very average.

Mite-dude take your wind pants and sandals and put them back in the hamper
cause i think they'll be more than just average. Yes Ben is good and they'll also be losing Beau but there is more to the team than just those two Spearl will continue to improve,
berglund will maybe start playing to his level,
Kalis is good, they still will have good depth at forward and they should have a few good players coming up as sophmores next year,
like another hanowski (beau and ben's cousin)
and a couple of other kids who can put the puck in the net.
Remeber these kids had ole man hanowski as their coach every-other-year don't underestimate Hanowski's (i hate to say this) development of players.

If you're going to accuse me of wearing wind pants, I probably oughta go out and get some.

But seriously, they had better improve more defensively next year after losing the two guys that can consistently put the puck in the net. What I've noticed is that the non-Hanowskis can often dominate play, but not put it in the net. Just my .02.

LF Flyers

I thought LF was a basketball school? They play hockey there?

BTW, it's only class A and no good schools are playing, so I guess I will go with the home team.
