Can't make an argument for Cathedral after that massacre.

A million excused could be made for why Cathedral lost. But, the fact is they were outworked and outplayed. Quite frankly, they got piss pounded.

All that said, in my opinion, which is worth as much as a handful of dog crap, Cathedral playing their best game would beat Tech on their best night (there is no way of proving this).

But, anyone who likes hockey should be excited for a Tech vs. Apollo championship game tomorrow night.

Well put. Tomorrows game should be a fun one

I think Cathedrals 3rd line outplayed the whole team tonight, as well as thursday night. Schmidt was totally shut down tonight, and couldnt produce anything even when put at forward in the 3rd period.

True, Benjamin, Cathedral's act of depseration didn't change the game at all late in the 3rd with Schmidt at forward.

This game could get very ugly, both the score, and the physical aspect of the game. I'm chosing Tech over Apollo, 5 to 2.

I am also predicting TECH JV over SCC JV 3-1.

I don't quite know where this is going to go. Tech played a great game. Cathedral was pathetic. Cathedral can play better and Tech usually plays worse. Apollo looked awful, took over 30 minutes in penalties, but still managed to win. Bottom line, Apollo played shorthanded for 30 minutes and still won. Can Tech play as well tomorrow? Will Apollo play as poorly? Should be a good game. Apollo 4-3.

Apollo played a very good game but were badgered by the stripes for two periods. The only period called fair was the third and Apollo won that one fair and square. Apollo was a 8-3 winner over Bismarck even up.

Refs don't intentionally screw teams over. Once people figure that out, life will be better.

Like a college coach once told me, If five bad calls go against you, there are probably five bad calls that are for you.

I think Hampton's play has a lot to do with the outcome of tonights game. If he has an off game like last night it could get ugly. I think he'll come out and play solid and lead Apollo to a 3-2 win in a very physical game.

Grant is a very good player. Speed, skill and determination are developing nicely. He needs to grow a little to be a top prospect. (IMO)
I like watching him play.

Rogers beat Sauk Rapids 4-3 for the Consolation Crown and Sartell skates away with the Toilet Bowl after a nice 5-4 victory over Litchfield this morning.

Sam Lommel for SCC scores 22 seconds into game.
11 seconds later, Jordan Palusky scores again.

Good way to start off a game
