The puck is already in the net

The net was off before the puck went in the net. From all accounts that I've heard that's how far the net was off when the goal was scored.

I was there and I would say it was off for roughly 3 seconds before the shot was taken (people were screaming "nets off" before the shot was taken). In this picture the puck hadn't yet made it to the back of the net.

Apollo should have just had a nice two goal lead and they wouldn't have had to worry about being victim of a bad call.

Apollo did have a nice 2 goal lead. The tying goal was scored after the ref blew the whistle for a penalty. The official by the net immediately waived it off and called it no goal. The official at the blue line then conferenced with him for a couple minutes in the corner. They decided that the whistle "shouldn't" have blown and therefore the goal counts. I guess Apollo should have had a 3 goal lead! :?

Dont know anything about the game- but from this photo if the net was off it looks like only the goalie did it, why should he or his team benefit??
Looks like he and all teamates were what we used to call "cold turkey"!!

Thank you drair.
I give the concerned apollo people one thing on this comment, the refs were not in the game, and that is it. Obviously the Apollo goalie did it as he did other times in the game, who knows if it was off 3 seconds before, by the looks of it it had just been kicked off when the goalie made his move, did he move first or was he reacting to the shot?????
On Apollo's first goal, they were definitely off sides as the entered the fergus zone. So, Apollo has one less goal.
Look the winning goal is NOT the story of the game, the story of the game was, shots on goal: FF around 41,Apollo about 24. Fergus goalie has work to do, Apollo goalie is strong and gave them a chance, however, Fergus Falls controlled play. As stated before, the better team won.
