SCC played terrible against SCT, and game out the next day to beat Bismarck 13-0. I think they will beat Little Falls 5-4
When hell freezes over, I'll play hockey there too.

Cathedral I have the feeling will still be driving the steamroller tomorrow night after the killing they laid on Bismark...

Cathedral 5
Little Falls 2

These teams are evenly matched so I pick SCC to win on their home ice. 5-3 with an empty netter.

SCC over LF 4-3. SCC will carry over their intensity from the 13-0 W from Bismark. It'll a fun game to watch = D !

Close game...thought it was a little boring until LF scored then the pace semmed to pick up a bit. Maiers made a nice save on a Ben Hanowski breakaway.

SCC goalie was awesome today!!

Shots were 30-19 in favor of LF.

Did anyone get a good look at how the 3rd SC goal was scored?? I didn't see what happened

Looked kind of fluky to me. It looked like it was flipped over the net and trickled in off the back of a LF player.

Looked like a centering pass that bounced off the goalie.

On the game, I thought Cathedral looked brutal in the defensive zone and gave up way to many quality chances.

On the bright side for SCC, Maiers played a great game between the pipes and really was a top reason why Cathedral got a W.

He was back in the ice later that period and in the 3rd.... he was looking pretty wobbly coming off the ice, so I was surprised to see him back out there. (Schmidt by the way)

I'm definitely out of the loop on them, but of Little Falls' star players of the last few years, who is on this team? They didn't seem that good. They were fast but nothing else really impressed me.

The game was really slow for the first two periods. The third period it was like both teams came out and started a new game. After the LF goal both teams got even more energy. The third period was really good.

SCC

Some of the reason SCC looked terrible in the D zone was due to the fact that they could not catch a breakout pass to save their lives. This caused some turnovers and then the scramble started each time they missed a breakout pass. Falls 1st line caused them some problems and also got them running around a little, but they only managed 1 goal on the hot SCC goalie. The SCC goalie for this game was only a sophomore, and yes he really looked pretty good and probably was the difference.

On the other hand the Falls goalie did not stand out as much and may have not had one of his better games. For the most part it was a decent game.
