Who will beat Minnetonka?

Post by HShockeywatcher »

They are coming off a Gold Cup with with only one loss many would call a fluke. The odds are against them to run the table with the 7th toughest schedule. Who will be the next to put them under?

I think the better question is why are they not #1. Didnt they just spank HM?

It would not be at all surprising if STA, BSM and Edina all beat them in the coming weeks.

They will have 4-5 losses by the end of the season.

My take on that... Hopkins just squeaked by Delano last night 3-2
Who only beat STMA 3-0 and lost to hutch.

So assuming that was a healthy dose of sarcasm...Tonka will take this one.

But who knows huh!! :?

It's a long shot but I'm hoping the shoe fits Hopkins Saturday night.

Heck, they are even led by an 8th grader! What a great story so far.

The skippers are good but with there schedule they could lose another 5 or 6 games.

They aren't #1 because all the non-computer based ranking systems have the undefeated depending champs at #1. Also, the tough half of their schedule is yet to come. Even with 5 losses, this team could make some noise at state with their tough schedule.

I've got my fingers crossed St Thomas can pull off the win and I don't see anyone Minnetonka plays before them beating them, so hopefully it's them.

Because of the author of this thread, answers need to be kept brief, to avoid a clusterfluke!

Not sure why you're a jerk for no reason. No one between now and St Thomas I think would be able to beat them. If Edina, or even Holy Angels, played them first, that would be my vote. But being that the teams before St Thomas, in my opinion, don't stand a chance and St Thomas is 2-0-1 (if my memory serves me correctly) against Tonka over the last 3 years...

Benilde will beet Minnetonka for their 1st loss of the season. Even before them is Eden Prairie which also has a great chance for an upset. There is absolutely no way Mtka is coming out of their schedule without a defete:

Hopkins - win
Eden Prairie - close game but win
not worth mentioning - win
Wayzata - win
BSM - loss
STA - loss
AHA - win
Edina - loss

The EP and BSM games are for seatings and will raise the bar for good overall play!

I am saying AHA

Post by Zamman »

I will go with AHA, they are my team and know that they are improving each game. Boerger should be back and playing well at that time. The team will be clicking more and AHA will have battled some tough teams. Yes I know M'tonka is playing well and deserve the accolades that go with that, but I always go with the team I follow. I just hope that no gets hurt and the game is fun....

Wayzata will be the lucky winner and it will be downhill from there.
