Brainerd forward, and Omaha recruit Joey Frazer, has to be mentioned at the top of this argument, especially after his hat-trick performance vs. Cloquet this past saturday.

Seems to me he used the term "forward". As in singular. Not plural. I don't think he was looking for a list.

I view as many of the good matchups in my area as I can. Duluth and Iron Range mostly. Here is a list of my favorite forwards. 1. Youso 2. Decenzo 3. Johnson 4. Tardy 5. Hafferty 6. Mausoff 7. Stafne 8. Corrin 9. Jamnick 10. Jokinen. There are some others and I,m really enjoying getting to see some of the great matchups up here this winter. Wish I could see all the other great forwards in the state. Its pure joy to watch!
Do I have to shadow Pavelich again coach?

If I have to pick just 1 I pick Jake Youso. You only get lucky enough to see this type of player every so often. Great skater with unbelievable hands and vision. I thought I was watching Derek Plante again. Every time he steps on the ice its totally insane. He makes all his teamates better. Unselfish and gifted.

corrin? no way the only reason why he is doing so good this year is because of youso. he pretty much camps out in front of the net and yells for youso to pass him the puck. other than him your list looks pretty good to me 8)

Dave meyer struggles to retain his balance when he skates in circles during warmups. Forget the actual game.

Woah woah woah bash brother, who do you think you are? maybe you should come out of the penalty box becasue i dont think your gettin a clear view of the game. dave meyer is the best player in the state, defense or forward
Dave Meyer isn't even a all conference player. They probably get 4 and it will be 3 defencemen a their goalie.

Corey Leivermann from mankato west deserves some mention in here. He played on the Elite 1 team this fall and had 20 points. he's 2nd in the state for scoring behind his linemate ricky litchfield because he got kicked out of basically two games (game suspension).

He has a unique style but a very smart offensive mind. He signed with Minnesota State earlier this month. look out for him if he can lead his team to the state tournament.

What a line

Post by tshockey2 »

I remember about 5-6 years ago We played against the Minnesota Rockets and the line at the time was Danny Matson Jake Gardiner and Derek Stepan. We loved beating the Rockets but these 3 forwards were fun to watch.
