Post by nikkee21 »

Whats up with them? Will they be section/state contenders?

Any good players to watch for?

Not sure, but I understand you should keep an eye on their coach.

To my knowledge there hasnt been any major problems with the coach in New Prague.

As for the team they have had ups and downs. They have a lot of fire power on offense, but I believe their major set back has been poor backchecking and to many defensive break downs. For example against Mankato West, New Prague outshot the Scarlets 39-28 but lost the game 7-1. Mankato's goalie had a great game but New Prague gave up to many two on ones and three on twos. Highlight of their season has to be the win over Duluth Denfeld.

At 7-3 I think that the trojans do have a shot at the section title if they can improve their defensive play.

Some players to watch are: the Lapics, Ambroz, Adams, and Feuk

close; New Prague won 4-3. I guess they scored four in the first period, and then who knows what happened.
